I dont like leaving negative reviews, but this one is unavoidable. The Milford Service Center is the strongest reason to NOT own a tesla in CT. I have leased/owned 3 Teslas, and I am currently selling a perfectly good 2018 Model S because of how terrible service is at this center. It used to be great back in 2017 when there were fewer owners, and a mature reliable staff with good communication. Those employees have left or retired, the center is swamped, and it is staffed by mostly clueless newbies. These people who do seem to know about cars, like the current service manager, is a little bit aggressive and not so nice to deal with.
If you request to speak to someone in leadership or management, they ignore your requests. They only communicate through the app and texting and wont actually talk to you. You have NO recourse if they botch your repair and double charge you (this happened to me, twice in the last 2 years). You are at their mercy and they know it… and they dont care at all. And also – you busy parents or professionals – we dont have loaners, so here are some Uber bucks. Absolute joke.
Dont buy a Tesla if you live in CT. There are lots of other EV options out there. Go somewhere where you are valued and you can talk to a human who has pride in his business.
